Travel Risk Notice
Effective date: July 2026
Private travel in Colombia may involve changing conditions and activities with inherent risk. This notice helps guests make informed travel decisions before confirmation.
1. Inherent travel risks
Travel may involve illness, injury, theft, weather, transport disruption, changing local conditions, and other events that cannot be fully eliminated.
2. Your travel decisions
Guests should assess the suitability of each proposed journey element for their own circumstances and seek professional advice where needed.
3. Higher-risk activities
Water activities, aviation, hiking, remote travel, and other specialist experiences may require additional provider terms, eligibility checks, or waivers before participation.
4. Provider responsibilities
Independent providers remain responsible for the services they deliver. ALMAR coordinates only the arrangements expressly included in the written journey confirmation.
5. Insurance and support
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended. Security, medical support, and emergency arrangements are not assumed, and are included only when confirmed for your journey.
6. Journey-specific documents
If a provider requires a waiver or additional terms, those documents will be presented before the relevant service is confirmed or undertaken.
